Julie Steele Earns FPC

Payroll Account Manager Julie Steele earned the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC). The FPC is the American Payroll Association’s (APA) certificate of achievement, which recognizes those who demonstrate professional commitment and knowledge in the field of payroll. With Julie's accomplishment, we now have a payroll department that is 100% certified!

Julie holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the National and Oklahoma chapters of APA. She is actively involved in Nextep’s community service program, and volunteers her time to the Ronald McDonald House and other worthy causes.

Tracie McMurtry Earns FPC

Accounting Specialist Tracie McMurtry earned the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC). The FPC is the American Payroll Association’s (APA) certificate of achievement, which recognizes those who demonstrate professional commitment and knowledge in the field of payroll.

A member of both the national and Oklahoma chapters of the APA, Tracie is in charge of all the payroll tax responsibilities at Nextep.

Lindsey Murry Earns PHR

HR Specialist Lindsey Murry recently passed the Human Resource Certification Institute's (HRCI) Professional in Human Resources (PHR) exam. HRCI is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). This certification demonstrates that Lindsey has mastered the human resource body of knowledge.

A recent graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Lindsey is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Admnistration. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Oklahoma City Human Resource Society, Sooner Chapter of SHRM and the OKC Metro Employers’ Council.

Irwin’s Daughter Wins Big

Please join us in applauding Chief Operating Officer Buck Irwin’s daughter Brooke on a wonderful achievement: she placed first in the 18th Annual Mustang School District Fourth Grade Spelling Bee. After eight intense rounds, Brooke beat out 53 other contests by correctly spelling words like “pedigree,” “hawthorn” and “twentieth”. Way to go Brooke!
