Effective November 21, 2009, labor posters must be updated to include wording from Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, or GINA.

GINA protects applicants and employees from discrimination based on genetic information, restricts employers acquisition of genetic information, and strictly limits disclosure of genetic information.

Nextep is sending updated stickers to place on your labor posters. Until they come, you can keep your company in compliance by visiting the Department of Labors website to print the notice and hang next to your labor poster.
