Nextep's 2019 Year in Review

Nexteppers Clapping

Thank you for another great year!

In our 22nd year of business, we elevated and enriched the employment experience in more ways than ever. From our charitable foundation initiatives to our technology enhancements and overall growth as a company, 2019 is a year we won’t soon forget.

Nextep Gives Back

The Nextep Charitable Foundation started its second year strong. In partnership with the Pledge 1% Movement, our people donated their time, dollars, and know-how to deserving nonprofits. We met our yearly goal of donating $100,000 and serving more than 1,500 volunteer hours. This year we also created Nextep Gives Back Days, which allowed us to send our entire company out to serve organizations in our communities.

Nextep Mobile App

The release of our mobile app was a significant accomplishment for us — and a huge win for you! Access your employment essentials at any time, anywhere, and on any device with the Nextep mobile app. In the short time the app has been available, we’ve received useful feedback to help us plan for phase two of development. Soon, we’ll release a new experience with even more features for you and your people!

More Technology and Benefits

This year we rolled out technology that made life easier for our people at no additional cost. We introduced a virtual Nextep helper, Felix, who is available 24/7 to answer questions and give guidance in Nextep accounts. As an admin, you can now add or remove employees from your computer or the Nextep mobile app. For your team, performance management was rolled out to help set goals and acknowledge achievements from your Nextep account. We made technology improvements by listening to your feedback and have exciting plans to bring you much more very soon.

Along with upgraded technology came great new benefits. This year we doubled our available plan options and added voluntary benefits. With options including telehealth, disability, and personalized retirement advice, you have a range of options to suit the diverse needs of your people.

We’re always looking for new ways to elevate the employment experience, and we look forward to serving you in 2020 and the years to come. Want to read more about our year? Download our 2019 Year in Review. Thanks for being part of a great year!
