Nextep and the SOC 1, Type 2 Designation are the Perfect Pair

2018 10 Nextep Soc Day 3 1

We have great news: Nextep is now SOC 1®, Type 2 certified! The SOC 1®, Type 2 report analyzes the controls that affect users’ financial reporting. We worked with UHY LLP (UHY) to complete the certification, proving that we continue to meet premiere industry standards. This certification speaks to the quality of the Nextep processes that manage our people’s personal information.

“We are fiercely committed to holding ourselves to the highest of standards and safely managing our clients’ information. The SOC report allows us to show our clients, once again, that we’re continuing to be good stewards of their trust,” said Brian Fayak, Nextep founder and CEO.

Over the years, we have earned our Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC) and Certified Professional Employer Organization (CPEO) accreditations as a commitment to transparency and honoring our people’s trust. Now, with the SOC certification, our people have additional assurance that their information is managed efficiently and safely with Nextep.

While not much has changed for us and our processes, the SOC 1®, Type 2 certification is one more example of our commitment to transparency — we put our people’s trust first!
