Nextep Gives Back – 2023 in Review
2023 was a year brimming with generosity and impact for the Nextep Charitable Foundation. We’re thrilled to share that we donated over $101,000 to 36 deserving organizations throughout the year, making a tangible difference in our communities. Here are some of the highlights of Nextep Gives Back.
Future Philanthropists Grow Tomorrow’s Changemakers
Our inspiring Future Philanthropists program saw Nextep employees’ children contribute $2,400 of funds through the Nextep Foundation to causes they care about, fostering a love for giving back from a young age.
Investing in Community Pillars
We were proud to stand behind organizations like Mission Norman, with a $10,000 donation to support their vital work providing food to the hungry and transitional housing to the homeless. Our $23,500 contribution among several Nextep Gives Back Fall Initiative organizations fueled the efforts of local non-profits tackling food insecurity, education, and family and healthcare needs.
Hearts and Hands United
The spirit of volunteerism shone brightly, with 72 Nextep employees dedicating over 419 hours to serving their communities. Whether stocking shelves at Pantry Partners, helping set up teen housing at Bridges of Norman, or empowering women at the Women’s Resource Center, Nextep employees rolled up their sleeves and poured their hearts into making a difference.
Reaching Every Corner of Need
From providing new clothes to children in need through Operation School Bell to helping young entrepreneurs at Loveworks and serving vulnerable babies and toddlers at Infant Crisis Services, Nextep Gives Back supported a diverse range of needs. We partnered with organizations like SunHive Collective, spending quality time with young adults with disabilities. Supporting Bethesda, an organization that helps young victims of sexual abuse, was a high point.
And, of course, Food and Shelter of Norman received our ongoing support in their tireless efforts to help people who are hungry or homeless.
