The kiddos of Nextep are at it again, elevating and enriching the lives of those in their community! The Nextep Charitable Foundation started Nextep’s Future Philanthropist program, giving students the opportunity to donate $50 to their school or a nonprofit of their choosing each semester.
“We’re so proud of the culture of giving back we’ve built at Nextep, and it’s encouraging to see the children of so many Nexteppers be this excited about giving back,” said Brian Fayak, Nextep CEO and founder. “Showing kids the benefit of giving back to organizations and schools in their community is invaluable. We have a promising generation of philanthropists on the way!”
This spring and summer, on behalf of Nextep’s Future Philanthropists, the Nextep Charitable Foundation made donations to Infant Crisis Services, The Innocence Project, the American Cancer Society, the Salvation Army, Second Chance Animal Sanctuary, Direct Relief, Homes For Our Troops, Friends Metro Animal Shelters, Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue, and Citizen’s Advisory Board of Cleveland County. Additionally, 16 future philanthropists chose to donate the money to their schools! In total, 28 Nextep kids donated $1,400 to an organization or school near and dear to their hearts.
“We love seeing all of the Nextep kids get involved and excited about giving back,” said Kasie Thompson, Nextep Charitable Foundation Chair. “Supporting the schools and organizations they care about means the world to us. We’re already looking forward to the fall donation period!”
