Logging In

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create an account and log in?

When it’s time to create your account, you’ll receive an email with a link and password to easily log you in. Be sure not to share or forward this email; it is individual to you.

What if I never got the email?
  • First, make sure your company has transitioned to the new platform. If you’re not sure which account to log into, please contact Nextep’s payroll department for help.
  • Second, check your email’s spam folder to make sure it didn’t get caught there.
  • Third, it’s ok if you still don’t have the email. If your company has been transitioned to the integrated platform, you can simply visit clients.nextep.com, use your email address as the username, and click the “forgot password” link.

Benefit Enrollment

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the enrollment period for benefits?

Employees may enroll for benefits during their initial eligibility periods, usually 30 or 60 days, after being hired by the company.

Nextep also has open enrollment periods during the year. During those times, employees may enroll, terminate, or make changes to selected plans online.

There are generally two open enrollment periods: mid-year, and end of the year. Mid-year open enrollment gives an opportunity to enroll, make changes, or terminate medical, dental, vision, and other supplemental benefits. At the end of the year, you have an opportunity to enroll in the flexible spending account.
